John Heilemann is an American author, journalist, and national affairs analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. He has previously worked as a staff writer for New York, Wired, and The Economist. As an author, he co-authored two books books about presidential campaigning titled; Game Change (2010) and Double Down (2013). He is a co-host on the TV show The Circus alongside Mark McKinnon and Jennifer Palmieri.
